Turquoise is the one of several birth stones for December as it is the Planetary stone for Aquarius, Taurus and Sagittarius. It is believed that turquoise attracts money, success and love, and also relaxes the mind, and eases mental tension. Petoskey is the state stone of Michigan and is commonly found along the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron in the United States. It is actually a fossil formed from ancient coral 350 million years ago when Michigan was covered by a warm shallow sea. The glue used to secure everything is waterproof! If the tree ever looks a bit dusty just give it a spray in the sink and let it air dry. That is all the watering this tree will ever need to bring you and your loved ones years of happiness. |
