This tree was made as a gift for a friend of mine. There are dozens of gorgeous ocean jasper stones on gold colored wire. The root system is wonderfully mounted to a slice of Brazilian agate. The grays and browns in the base compliment the stones on the tree beautifully. Under the base are four discreet rubber feet, so the base will not scratch a table or shelf. This is one of the most elegant trees I have ever made. It was a pleasure to share it with her. Ocean Jasper is one of my favorite stones to use. No two are alike. Ocean Jasper has an amazing array of colors and color combinations including: white, pink, green, red, yellow and more. Usually the color combinations are in spots or stripes. Ocean Jasper is known as a stone for responsibility and self-assurance. The glue used to secure everything is waterproof! If the tree ever looks a bit dusty just give it a spray in the sink and let it air dry. That is all the watering this tree will ever need to bring you and your loved ones years of happiness. |
