The dark reddish purple of these polished natural garnets is striking. There are more than fifty of these gorgeous stones atop a tree built of gold tone wire. The root system is visible against the glass base filled with clear glass pebbles. There are also more garnet “fallen leaves” around the base of the tree. The “leaves” have been polished to a high shine and are excellent specimens of my favorite gemstone. This tree stands approximately five inches high and is around six inches across at the widest parts. The base is five inches in diameter. Garnet is the official birthstone for January and for the zodiac sign Aquarius. It is believed that garnet can help with healing and strength. It is also associated with love and passion. The glue used to secure everything is waterproof! If the tree ever looks a bit dusty just give it a spray in the sink and let it air dry. That is all the watering this tree will ever need to bring you and your loved ones years of happiness. |
